Why hire a wedding coordinator?

Gone are the days of a "coffee and cake" reception in the church basement. Weddings, these days, are a full blown affair, with multiple vendors, 2-3 day installs, many 'choreographed' moments, and MANY details to coordinate.

 I've even heard of weddings where they have forgotten to cut the cake! (not mine!)  It doesn't work when the DJ announces "Dinner is ready" when the caterer is not quite ready to serve, or have them announce the toast when the champagne has not been poured.  Who is going to make sure you have the plates and forks for cake cutting? Who will be in charge of lowering the lights once the dancing starts? Preferably not you, or your mom... or your partner's mom!

 You need someone whose ONLY job is to keep everything on time and on track. I consider myself the wedding 'producer'.  I bring together all the components of the event and oversee each tiny detail. The actual 'director' of the event will be the emcee (or DJ) - they will be the one to move the event along (under my direction) and will be the 'face' of the event.

These are just a few of the insights of the many eyes I have (on your behalf). Most likely you will not be aware of me during the event, as I will be in the background. But I assure you, I will gently be letting you know what comes next and when to get ready for the next 'choregraphed' moment.
